Scarlett Hagan Scarlett Hagen has retired from racing downhill mountain bikes after having competed both nationally and internationally for ten years. “I love the sport of mountain biking and will now be changing my focus to help promote the sport by coaching riders to be safer, faster and smoother mountain bikers". Scarlett is continuing her work with Sparc New Zealand by traveling around the country helping promote healthy living and sports for school children. As well as this she will be competing in general mountain bike and multi-event type races and trying some exciting new sports and challenges. Blake Luff Blake is our newest recruit at NZ Compression, and even though he is still young has already made his mark on the World of Multi sport with top placings in youth categories of the Rail Trail and Gold Rush. He is currently training for the 2010 Coast to Coast while beginning his studies at Otago University in Phys-ed. Watch this space for future achievements! |
Robert Dowling If you want some firewood cut this is the man to do it. Robert (Bobby) Dowling has been a New Zealand Representative Axeman since the age of 16. He is currently ranked as the world under 21 number one axeman on the planet and has this year once again been selected to represent New Zealand in the senior axe-men's team.A recent article published in the Southland Times will give you a bit more of an insight into the success of this young man and is available to read on our Info / Articles page. |
